Now that all the launches are closed, where is everyone going?

So far my favorite is Belton, it's huge, has smooth water and very little traffic. But it is a little bit of a drive.

Lake Austin because it's close.
Lake LBJ next weekend for a three day trip.
Love Lake Belton. Spent Spring Break up there at Live Oak Ridge camp by the dam and explored the whole lake. Good size lake with lots of water!

It's hard to fight with a nice close lake. Has Lake Austin been super crowded with Travis locked down?
Haven't had a chance to do LBJ yet, saw some pictures of it from someone's trip, looks pretty fun.
Next time I hit Lake Belton I'm going to see about finding out my boat's top speed, it has some nice smooth water.

Not too bad. I was expecting a lot more traffic. We've changed our outing schedule to avoid peak times. So, we've missed a lot of the ramp chaos.
I don't understand why Loop 360 doesn't have a control person working the ramp like Mansfield does / did? You would think that with Mansfield ramp closed they would transfer that person over to 360? IMO, 360 could use it.
Another thing I've been looking for is an increase in adult activity (Devil's Cove stuff - jello shots, topless / nudity, super loud profanity music). Much to my dissappointment, I haven't seen any.
I have four small kids so I have to steer clear of the wildness. Although, between us, I don't mind checking it out from a distance.....just don't tell my wife.

LOL, I would expect more topless girls as well and have been sorely disappointed. But I haven't been out too much lately. Believe me I've been looking!

That's one thing I miss about Travis, seeing the crazy crap. Georgetown definitely has zero crazy crap going on. At least as far as I can see!
Got a pair of binoculars for cruising past Devil's Cove?

I'd probably have a set of black eyes if I pulled out a pair of binoculars to check out the scene.
My approach is always have my sunglasses on and try not to stare too hard / much.
Actually my wife is pretty cool about it. We enjoyed the boat party singles scene before we got married so it's not like it's new to her. Sometimes the loud profanity riddled rap music does set her off.....trying to protect the kiddos.

Avoiding the profanity must be a challenge, it seems like every wake boarding boat is blasting it while cruising. I know my friends are guilty of it from time to time. Maybe not always profanity laced, but it happens.

Austin does have a lot of eye candy still, even if it's covered up.

Lots of eye candy down in Dino Cove (across from Hula Hut) on Lake Austin on Saturday. Even had a couple of peelers on a red/black Malibu dancing it up topless.
I can't stop smiling

Besides the stupidity advertised in another post, I think that may help make the case for coming to visit Lake Austin next weekend!
