Ok, any one have any ideas of a date??? I have plans on the 23rd already. Maybe the 2nd of March?

2 March works for me

Let's do it!

David, Ted, Jim, Clark? Coming out to run?

...

You said you wouldn't run already Tongue We all know you just work on boats, you don't boat too Wink

This sounds like fun, but at this point I'm scheduled to run up to LOTO next Friday to pick up.....a new boat.  I won't let the cat out of the bag all the way -- but I will tell you that SS I2D is NOT going away, but rather is getting a stable mate.  I will also say that this boat is likely to pose some healthy competition to my ABF buddies -- on the flat-out speed front....once I learn how to drive it safely and grow slightly bigger....nerve.

'nuff said.  Pics will be provided at a later date.

Oh...a mystery.  I can't wait for the big reveal!  Let's see, LOTO, eh?  Well, not knowing where you bought it, but looking at the "sold" listings on the Performance Boat Center's website, I have a few guesses as contenders for flat-out speed....
Any hints?

Never know. He could have bought a 100 mph pontoon.

He could out run most of us while cooking burgers.  Grin

I still have to test the toon some more before I fill good about puttting it on travis.  if you all change weekends let me know.  I will make at least one outing this year.

Hehe.  Jim...I'd like your permission to use Diggin' Deeper.  That is perfect.  Or, perhaps, a variation...Dug In Deeper (probably more accurate).

Hints:

- No, not a pontoon (but I've often considered that).  I get my burger fill on land, and watch the LOTO Shootout to see 98 MPH pontoons run the speed trap.

- No, not a boat that would show up on OSO or Performance Boats, or other performance boat site classifieds, though I still include a quick sift and glance on a daily basis.  Daydreaming habit I can't (won't) break.

- A Whacker.  Big enough to attend to a large yard without breathing hard or breaking a sweat.  Giddyup.

- I'd acknowledge Evan's guess as being on the money -- but that would take most of the fun out of the equation.

So, I since I've taken most of the fun out of the equation....the winner is...

2013 Bass Cat Puma FTD, Dual Console, Merc 250 ProXS, very good electronics, color and graphics that I think are pretty cool.  Theoretically, can run mid to high 70's fully loaded up, as you race to your favorite fishing spot...but only after lots of practice and time behind the wheel.

I'm excited.  Have always wanted a quality fishing boat, and LT has some great spots to go hunting.  As my daughter would say...YOLO.  Will post pics when I figure out how to do that.

Well great. My port engine has started getting an attitude and dropping out on me while running. It's acting like the starboard engine did last Spring. So I'll be replacing all the same parts and see what happens.

I think I'm in still, but if that doesn't fix it I won't be a lot of fun on Saturday!
